The Bible says, Count the Cost. “(Luke 14:28) Let me add a second component for those who want to operate their business or life based on Kingdom principles. Prosperity for Kingdom men and women is not define based on how much we profit from money alone. Yes, we want to prosper financially. However, we must not base our ROI on financial gain only. Is your business causing you to be always absent from your kid’s recitals, honors day, games etc.? Is your business causing you to miss time with your significant other or husband and wife? Is your business causing you to be always overwhelmed, stress, and on the verge of snapping? Is your business interfering with your Christian values? Is your business causing you to forsake the assembly, and you haven’t been in church in months because your business has you to busy? If you answer yes to any of these questions, then you’re not getting a good return on your investment. Count the True Cost. Pastor Grier shares profound wisdom from his own experience as a business owner when he admits he wasn’t getting a good return on his investment.
